What happens to my Zorro Pay if I renew my plan?

Updated over a year ago

If you renew your plan, your Zorro Pay card will remain the same. However, you will still need to call your carrier or log in to your online account to update the amount of your recurring payments.

Your Zorro Pay card is programmed based on your carrier. If you choose to renew the same plan with the same carrier. You will be able to continue using the same Zorro Pay card. However, since your premium amount will likely change, the amount allocated from your employer to your Zorro Pay card will need to get updated.

After you submit your renewal election, Zorro will update your premium allocation.

Even though your card number will stay the same and your carrier might have it on file, you will need to contact your carrier to readjust your recurring payment amount and make sure it is updated to your new premium amount. If this action is not taken, the carrier may continue drawing the old amount – and your premium payments may be considered insufficient or late.

Make sure to contact your carrier, check that the Zorro Pay card details are still on file, and update the premium amount. We encourage you to do this before January 1st to guarantee uninterrupted auto-payments and a smooth transition into the new plan year!
