What if I need to make a catch-up payment for 2 or 3 months?

Updated over a year ago

Zorro Pay works based on loaded balances and permitted amounts.

  • Loaded balance: the loaded balance is always the full premium amount that appears in Zorro. Each month, when your employer transfers funds, we load the card with the balance for next month’s premium so you can make your next payment.

  • Allotted amount: the Zorro Pay card is programmed to automatically allow transactions of up to 2X (i.e., twice) the premium amount.

We know that carriers sometimes fail to pull a payment, or that you may need to make a catch-up payment because you forgot to make a payment.

  • Catch up for 2 months: If you need to make a catch up payment, your card will work for up to twice your loaded balance/premium amount, allowing you to make up to 2 monthly payments at once.

Catch up for 3 months: However, Zorro Pay will not work for any additional amounts. If you are behind on your premium payments and need to make a catch-up of 3 months, please write to Zorro Support. We will be able to place a temporary instruction on your Zorro Pay card to allow for up to 3X the amount, but this needs to be handled manually.
