Zorro Pay initial draw

Zorro Pay cards are created and funded as employees make their plan elections on the platform and get enrolled with carriers. Because of this, your Zorro Pay employer account needs to be funded before employees start their election window. Once enrollment starts, the Enrollment Team will need to use cards in order to pay for the first month’s premiums with carriers.

As we kick off onboarding, we will pull an initial amount in order to fund the first month of premium payments for your employees.

The amount for this initial pull is typically determined with your Zorro Partnership Lead during your discussions about the allowance model. It will be based on an estimate of the total premium costs of employees you expect to enroll in a health plan.

When your initial premium draw is initiated, you will receive an email notification from Echo, similar to the one shown in the screenshot below.
