If you help an employee shop on a different website (for instance, for Medicare coverage) and need to report plan details back to Zorro, you should use the manual submission option. Click this option and follow the steps, indicating the name of each plan and the household members enrolled in it (if there is more than one plan and/or household member). This is most common with Medicare-eligible employees but can also apply when a dependent has a separate/college plan, or in other exception situations.
Important to note: Even if you are submitting a Medicare or other external election using the manual election flow, you will still need to move the enrollment record from “Election submitted” to “Application sent” to “Enrollment Confirm”. Do not forget to perform these two additional steps in order to make sure the enrollment is indicated as complete and reflected in payroll.
