Once you have your new health plan through ICHRA, it's important to set up autopay with your insurance carrier. You can do this by creating an online account on your carrier's website or by calling them directly. Look for a "Create Account" option, which is usually easy to find on their homepage.
Selecting a date for recurring payments:
When setting up autopay, select a payment date between the 25th and 28th of each month. This timing is important because it aligns with when your employer sends funds to Zorro to reload your Zorro Pay card for the following month's premium.
Remember: While Zorro is here to support you, setting up recurring payments for your health insurance premium is your responsibility. Failure to do so may result in a lapse of coverage or even cancellation of your plan so make sure to do this as soon as possible after the start of your plan!
